How To Take A Road Trip

*My 4 Must-Haves For Road Trips*

1.  What I do in my car before I leave the driveway

I pull my energy tightly around myself and ground it deeply down into the earth and intend that this connection stay strong throughout the trip.   Being scattered and distracted does not make for safe driving.  Consolidating your energy is calming and gets you back in your body to be present to what you are doing.

Then I ask for the devas of travel to ensure that my trip is Safe, Swift, and Smooth.   Sometimes I even connect to the devas of the specific highways that I’ll be using too, enlisting their assistance, with gratitude.   I also include the deva of my car (Otto) in this request – we’re in this together!

Then I envision a big white protective buffer of light around my car.

This all takes about 30 seconds, and for me, makes a big difference in co-creating safe and pleasurable travels.  I don’t leave home without doing it!  You can also do this for plane, train or boat travel.  Just change the wording to fit your situation.  Your higher realm support teams want to assist you. 🙂

2.  Essential Oils for my car diffuser

I usually use a drop or 2 of peppermint or lemon or rosemary to keep me alert and focused.

You don’t need anything fancy to do this yourself.  Just put the oils on a cotton ball or tissue and use a small binder clip to attach it to an air vent – easy, effective and great-smelling.  Peppermint is also fantastic for motion sickness.

3.  Sustenance – Water, protein bars, healthy snacks – I just can’t get away with hitting Taco Bell and Starbucks anymore!

4.  Books-on-Tape – nothing helps the time speed by like a good mystery.  I pick up several from my local library and I’m good to go.

Happy trails to you!
