Love and self-nurturing

February 14, 2015

Love is in the air today.

As a replacement for the commercialism of this day, and in support of self-love and self-nurturing, I have a message from my higher-realm support team for you.

Happy “Everyday is Love-Day”!

Colleen

“Nurturing yourself is a way to understand the life inside of you… it is a way of getting to the truth that resides within.  It is an opportunity to access the self-known wisdom inside… the wisdom about what your life has to offer to the greater experience of planetary oneness…the potential inside that longs to be expressed.

Each one of us is experiencing life in our own unique way and that makes for a different understanding of what you can deliver to the tribe, to the evolution of love.

The longing to make a difference is the commonality among us all and the truth that connects us.

So the times that you are able to hear the wisdom of the self are critically needed at this time and we are waiting for you to assist in the light-bringing to the others on the planet in order to facilitate the mass transforming of love into all.  The Gaian allies have been made ready.

The ability to quiet down and hear and honor the words inside of you will make for a way to your heart’s desire… to participating in a way that makes your heart soar.”

Pretty cool, huh?

Ways to self-nurture and listen to the inner wise self:

Meditation – there are many apps and online programs available.  Headspace is one I’m currently using and liking.

Journaling / free-writing – just let the pen flow without stopping or censoring yourself.  Try it for 2 minutes to start (set a timer).  You’ll be amazed at what comes out.

Be Quiet – take off your headphones and turn off your music – practice being okay in the silence.

Gemstones – dark stones like hematite, obsidian and onyx can calm and ground so that we become quiet enough to listen; and certain gemstones can help facilitate meditation and self-knowledge like blue apatite, labradorite, and sugilite.

Essential Oils –  balm of gilead, jasmine, spikenard/jatamansi, neroli, frankincense, sandalwood, holy basil, and hyssop.  Apply to the soles of the feet, the 3rd eye and the heart area.

Salt baths – baths in general are nurturing, but especially salt baths; even better are salt baths with added essential oils.

Receiving  – acupuncture, reiki, cranio-sacral work, and massage are all perfect ways to take care of yourself, quiet the mind and start to hear your own self again.

Pick one or two of these ideas and start nurturing and loving yourself more today.  Let me know how it goes – I’d love to hear. ♦
