Happy 12/12/12!

Happy 12/12/12!

I’m looking out my window at a light drizzle, with blue skies and sunshine in the background, watching a hummingbird flit around 🙂  What an auspicious start to the day (hummingbird is the representative of joy in animal spirit medicine).

I’m feeling a peaceful excitement today.  There has been a lot of hoopla about this date, along with the solstice next week on 12/21/12.  I do not ascribe to any of the fearful beliefs that some may have, but instead believe we are transitioning into the “New Earth”.  We are leaving behind what no longer works and embracing what is possible and what we truly desire…for ourselves, for others, and for our planet.   How great is that?

What do you want to create in your life?  What do you really want to see happen in the world?  The time is now.  The planetary energies are supporting us.  Let’s welcome it in.

I wanted to share a couple pieces of inspiration to support you today.  Enjoy!

May all beings know love,

Colleen

Amma, the “hugging saint” from India advises us to be very careful with our thoughts and words during the time between 12/12/12 and 12/21/12. It is also especially good to chant:

“Loka Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu” (May all beings everywhere be happy and free and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all).

See youtube for examples of this chant and sing along.  Lovely.

Roman Chamomile supports an individual in discovering and living their true life purpose.  Regardless of what they do for a living, Chamomile helps them find purpose and meaning in their lives.  As individuals live from the center of their beings, they find a power and a purpose that is indescribable.  They feel more at peace and more calm.  Chamomile softens the personality, easing the overactive ego-mind.  It restores one’s confidence to do what they came here to do.  Like a guardian angel, Chamomile leads the soul to where they need to be and what they need to be doing.

Roman Chamomile assists a person in shedding the meaningless activities that consume their lives so that they can focus on a more fulfilling work, even the work of their own souls.  Chamomile assists in feeling connected to and supported by divine helpers and guides.  It calms insecurities about following one’s spiritual path.  People fear and believe that if they do what they love, they will end up destitute.  Roman Chamomile says, “Do what you love and everything will be a success.”
