Batch Cooking as a New Year’s Goal

I hope your weekend was nourishing for you. 💜 As I write to you today I’m resting my very sore legs after a long hike yesterday – I think I overdid it! I also spent some time cooking so I’d have healthy food to eat throughout my week.

This is something I’m always encouraging my clients to do. Say hello to your kitchen and do some batch cooking of healthy meals or components of meals to reheat during the week. This frees up so much energy spent on wondering what you can eat when you’re super hungry and busy and don’t feel like cooking.

And this is especially challenging when you’re dealing with ongoing fatigue and chronic illness.

It can be so tempting to reach for takeout or something processed but I promise you, it is well worth the effort to cook some fresh, healthy food for yourself. This is how your body will heal, meal by meal. You can do it!

Last week I promised you a gift of my ebook of easy, healthy recipes to support you on your healing journey. These recipes are for protein-centered meals and snacks that will keep you fuller longer and keep your blood sugar from crashing if you tend to skip meals (hangry, anyone?). Critically, they will also give your body the much-needed building blocks to heal. Just click below (no cost to you and no opt-in necessary).
